The BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia WTA 125 will take place from September 13 to 20 at the Sporting Club de Tenis – BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia

The BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia WTA 125 will hold its next edition from September 13 to 20 at the Sporting Club de Tenis de Valencia, the tournament’s traditional venue on the women’s circuit.

The competition will feature players from the international tour, including top 100 WTA-ranked tennis players, further strengthening the sporting level of this edition.

The tournament is scheduled after the US Open in New York, the final Grand Slam of the season, and before the start of the Asian swing, during a phase of the calendar in which players fine-tune their competitive preparation across different surfaces.

In this context, tournament director Anabel Medina highlighted the event’s position within the international calendar:

“With these new dates, the tournament is placed at a point in the calendar that encourages player participation during an important stage of the season. This allows us to deliver the competition in a more stable and suitable environment within the WTA 125 circuit.”

The BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia has established itself as one of the leading events in women’s tennis on the international circuit and is the only WTA tournament historically held in the Valencian Community.

Recent highlights include the victory of Nuria Párrizas, who became the first Spanish player to win the title during the tournament’s tenth edition.

The organization will soon announce the opening of ticket sales for this new edition.
