Lucia Cortez Llorca will face the Croatian and number 8 seed Lea Boskovic in the first round of the afternoon on the center court of the Sporting Club de Tenis Valencia, looking to add rounds in the home trophy.
In case of being able to advance in the qualifying rounds, there could be hypothetical crossings with two veterans of the tournament, since Ángela Fita and Leyre Romero will be in their third participation in 2023.
Along with them, the novelty for this year will be Charo Esquiva, who has received a wild card after winning the Spanish Junior Championship, winning the ITF Junior of Valencia and being the only Spanish player qualified for Roland Garros Junior in 2023 with only 15 years old.
