FIVE TOP 100 PLAYERS HAVE ALREADY CONFIRMED THEIR PRESENCE AT THE BBVA INTERNATIONAL OPEN OF VALENCIA – BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia

The BBVA Open Internacional Valencia Tournament, hand in hand with Anabel Medina and Tennium, will bring the best women’s tennis to the capital of the Turia, which from June 4 to 12, 2022 will host at the Sporting Club de Tenis a trophy with prizes of up to $115,000 for its participants, becoming the first WTA125 tournament in the history of the Valencian Community and one of the few to be held in Spanish territory.
This new synergy, together with the support as main sponsor of BBVA, certifies the intention already presented in the 2021 edition to grow in a continuous but sustainable way and to be able to gather in the capital of the Turia some of the best players of the international circuit.
In fact, five of the players who will visit the capital of Turia are already among the top 100 in the world: Anastasiya Potápova, number 78; Dalma Galfi, number 91; Arantxa Rus, number 74; Mayar Sherif, number 62 and the Spanish Nuria Párrizas (number 52).

The definitive Entry List will be closed on May 9, when the final profiles of the players who will travel to the capital of the Turia will be known, many of them after having played events such as the Mutua Madrid Open and Roland Garros. The Valencian tournament will also be an opportunity for many of them to extend their clay court season for another week.

Tickets for the event can already be purchased through the website www.openinternacionalvalencia.com.
The BBVA Open Internacional de Valencia will once again be supported by public institutions such as the Valencia City Council, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Diputación de Valencia, together with private entities such as the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation, Volvo, RFET, Dacsa, Melt Group, Global Omnium, Abenet Soluciones, Climate Trade and Vegamar, among others.
