The BBVA Open Internacional Valencia Tournament, with Anabel Medina and Tennium, is approaching the final weekend with several titles at stake and a line-up that is defining who will be the winner of the 80,000 first prize of the event.
The fourth day (third of the main draw) resumed after two singles and one doubles match were suspended due to rain on Thursday afternoon, with Bolsova (who came close to reaching the semifinals) and Masarova playing on court 1 and Rus and Gorgodze on court 2 to ensure that the center court is optimally maintained for the quarterfinals.
Likewise, both stages also saw the crossings between Udvardy and Selekhmeteva (with victory for the latter) and Tomova and Bara (victory for the former), as well as the doubles matches that remained to be held.
Among them the only one that still had Valencian representation, where Angela Fita paired with the first individual semifinalist to face Bartone and Shymanocich and went to the semifinals. On the other hand, the Spanish Cavalle could not beat Grey and Mendez in the super tie break.
Live results can be followed on the official ITF website.
